Warm & comfy; may need to size down as fit is larger than the Avalanch Mogul Fleece

After seeing Mogul fleece leggings in this brand many times here on STP, and having noted the many positive reviews, I finally decided to try them. I had not seen the Aurora style before and wasn't sure what the difference was between the two, but I purchased a couple of pairs of each style for myself and my grand-daughter (to wear as a base layer for me, and as leggings on cold school days for her). Both versions are soft, warm and comfortable--thick & cozy--they seem a bit bulky at first but aren't heavy and have a rather stream-lined fit once on. I'm not sure if the Aurora line is designed with a more modern fit and I'm not sure if this is true for all of the colors but for the ones we tried (green for her, grey for me) they seem a bit thicker and heavier than the Mogul leggings and the fit is definitely more generous (whereas I found the Mogul to fit TTS) and the waistband fits lower--they are a bit loose but will still work for me, but for my grand-daughter, they are oversized and almost baggy--warm and comfy but without the sleek look of a legging, so she will just wear them at home. I tried on my grand-daughter's (one size smaller than mine) leggings and the waist fits well, but they are a little too snug in the leg, so I know that ordering a size down will not work for me; I will stick with the Mogul for myself, but I will try ordering one or two sizes down in the Aurora next time I purchase for my grand-daughter. Slim women may want to try a size smaller than usual...
