Its light , but a terry type sweatshirt , material .. its just , super sweet to put on , it feels good on . It is absolutely adorable on . It is cute alone , as a cover up , or as a tunic over shorts capri's or leggins , pants . I am just glad I saw it , it was incredibly on sale , and turns out something I will wear ALOT ! it also has front pockets , but not a "pouch pocket" so the look is sleeker , and slightly more refined .

Had the fabric been nicer, I'don't have kept it and taken it in. Too thick and think it will pill with washing. Didn't want to find out.
