I'm 5'5'' and normally wear a 12 for a comfortable fit on my hips. I ordered the 14/16 and it is a bit big on the waist but it fits my hips great. I love the material and color.

Otherwise, it is shaped very oddly in such a way that it opens back up at the waistband. You can even kind of see this in the pics. Folded over, it works great - it's quite a bit shorter though, but not too short. I am 5'10", 169 lbs, usually a size 10 or medium, 36DD. I got this in a large and it *just* fits - I got ExOfficio and Royal Robbins skirts at the same time in medium - and this one fits smaller than both of them. Anyway really like the material, the color, and how it looks folded over.
