I ordered this jacket in my usual size medium and had to return it for a large. The sleeves now have to be turned up, but that's ok. I think it will be perfect for snow shoeing and cross-country skiing because of the wicking and breathability. It fits well, not boxy and the color(blackberry)is very pretty. The windproof aspect is what prompted me to give it a try.

I use this jacket all the time for just about everything. My only complaint is that I have to wash it after wearing it only once or twice, because it holds in body odor smells. If I get sweaty while wearing it--I usually have to take it off, so it will dry off. It doesn't do a good job of wicking sweat. I love the color (blackberry) and it fits well.

I use it alone or with a light liner on cold, dry days and with a Goretex jacket on wet days. It seems to repel light mist/rain quite nicely. I have another fleece jacket with a back zippered pocket that I really like so sort of miss that extra pocket in this jacket.

Nice for a light weight, wicking underlayer.

Alone, this jacket is great for temperatures of 35+. And will work well in layering under a waterproof shell for Xcountry skiing.

Runs small. I'm usually a size 4 or small, but this small was almost like a girls size 14. I reordered a medium and this fits well. If planning to layer it, order larger than you normally would! It is soft and oh, so warm!

Yes, the sleeves are abnormally long (and I'm a tall person) but I admit that I kind of like that. This fleece feels very light but I can wear it when it's in the mid-30s in the morning and still feel warm, and also wear it in my office when I'm chilled and not be too hot. I didn't give it five stars because the pockets are somewhat flimsy -- not terribly well attached to the fleece. Also, the contrast of black zipper on the blue fleece is a little more obvious than I expected. A matching zipper would have been nice. But overall, a good value for a soft, windblocking fleece.

This jacket is very warm, comfortable and stylish. I have not officially worn it out in the rain yet, so I do not know about the waterproof part of it. It fits perfect. Snug yet comfortable.

I received this fleece today. It is a beautiful berry color. It is tightly woven, very soft fleece, and I would expect, as it claims, that it would be great protection in the wind. It has nice zippers in front and on the pockets. It mostly fits true to size, with two exceptions: the sleeves are very long (past my fingertips when arms are at the sides - not a deal breaker, as this could be a benefit in really cold weather) and the neck seems a little large in comparison to the size I ordered. The pockets seem as if they are placed a little too high, and do not extend to the zipper, so they seem a little small also. The length is perfect. Overall, this was not the fleece for me due to the proportions.
