    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I normally wear a size 10 or Mediums in shirts and sweaters. The large measurements for this sweater said size 8-10, so that is what I ordered. I honestly think I could have worn a small. The large was more like a 14-16. Since it was so big, it was hard to get a feel for what it would look like if it was sized right. I'm sending this back.

    Very cute sweater, but I had to return for a smaller size. I normally wear a size 6 or small, but ordered a medium (6-8)--definitely more an 8 or 10. [...] It is a little boxy so if you are looking for a more fitted sweater this is not the one. Looks great with a long sleeve t-shirt and jeans.

    I haven't worn this yet but it is really cute and youthful looking. The collar is a little big for my petite frame but I think I will get a lot of wear from the sweater. It is a good rich black color, not washed out and is well made. I wish it had pearl or metal buttons instead of the crocheted buttons but I may change them if I can find the right match.
