Closeouts. Aventura's Presley denim capri pants sit just below the waist. Already distressed for the lived-in look, these pants have a bit of stretch, wide turned-up cuffs, flower embroidery on one leg, and lots of pockets to suggest a retro look.

    I was skeptical about buying cropped denim, for fear of looking too "huck finn" with the big cuffs. But, these are really cute and the denim is really soft. It's a bit thin around the "worn in" area on the thighs, but I think that's fine for the summer - I usually wear skirts all summer long so pants have to be lightweight for me. The denim version is cut larger - i got the khaki version too, and they were too snug in the same size. I really dig the retro looking pockets and embroidery on the leg, it reminds me of jeans I had as a little kid in the 70's.
