    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    First I found the XL size to be much too large in the chest. I returned it for size L which was much too tight. The smaller size was also particularly short. I admit I am rather longwaisted, but generally the longer lengths would be more stylish now. I was interested in the color which is similar to that of a black olive. If you want to take a chance, you could be pleased.

    The arms are LONG, as is the length overall but they were out of smalls, which I normally wear. It's definitely a roomy medium. I can't wear wool so this 100% cotton sweater is perfect. I love the rolled collar, though noticed some slight stitching coming apart on it already. I would have ordered a small if it was available. It's warm and cozy and my favorite sweater, especially with layers underneath.

    -the reality of this sweater matched up very well to the product description and pics on the website--no surprises here. The turquoise is a very nice shade-deep and muted. Fit is good--I am a petite small, so the sleeves are a bit longer, but the length hits at the top of the thighs, overall fit is roomy but not baggy and is slightly fitted through the waist and hips. Cotton knit is soft and light and the rolled edges are a nice touch without looking sloppy. This ones a keeper!
