Aventura Clothing Braelin Jacket - Organic Cotton (For Women)

I loved this jacket but I must not have read the description well enough because the jacket is lined with the same faux fur as the trim. Since I'm looking for a lightweight transitional jacket, this won't work for me. If you want a toasty warm and stylish jacket for cold weather, this is a perfect choice.

The lining of the jacket is the same fleece material used for the trim, which wasn't obvious to me in the item description. This would normally be a pleasant surprise, but since I needed a lighter transitional jacket this didn't work for me. I have to say that it's ADORABLE and comfy, just not what I was looking for.

The sleeves are not cut wide - so beware - and I am normally a medium and the large fit me well - sleeve a bit long - but you can fold them up more.[...]had to use a steamer on it - would have been hard to iron.But overall made well.

This is a really nice jacket - warm, well-cut, nice details, and I love the red color I got. Goes well with casual clothing, but I think could also fit with some dressier clothes. Since it wasn't described as "windproof", I wasn't sure how it would hold up in really cold weather, but it's kept me toasty walking outside in 20F weather and colder. Just a couple of things I wish were different: (1) The pockets are only top-entry, so you can't really keep your hands in them on chilly days like you can if there were also side-entries. (2) The sleeve cuffs are quite bulky, more so than I expected. You can choose to roll them up less, but then the sleeves tend to be a bit long.

This is a very attractive mid-weight jacket. The red color looks great with the Berber lining. I also like the decorative top stitching. I didn't give jacket a perfect score because it is a little snug around my middle. I will not be able to wear heavy sweaters underneath. Nevertheless, definitely a keeper.
