    It is great for around the pool. I can wear my bathing suit and not feel exposed. I am a fairly modest dresser and I like to feel covered around other people. This skirt has a nice length. Not to long or short.

    The waistband is elasticized, so using drawstring to cinch for tighter fit caused bulky crimping at the waist. It seemed big. So you may want to order a size down for this one. I loved the soft fabric, pastel color and ease of wear (no iron), so I simply used Sierra's Express Return to order a size down.

    I wanted something to wear at the beach. This outfit is perfect! Throw it over a bathing suit and how stylish you look going out the door. 1. I love the colors 2. The material is soft (you want to touch it and wear it all the time) 3. It is shorter than a skirt you would wear to work 4. Didn't shrink when washed. No Wrinkles. You can wash and wear. 5. Didn't change color when washed/pool water/beach 6. Put on a pair of flip flops and run to the store or restaurant. Would wear it for casual day wear as a bathing suit cover up. I wear my bathing suit all day in the summer. I ordered a Medium (I am pear shaped) fit fine. I usually wear a size 10. So if you have a small bottom half you might get away with a smaller size. I LOVE IT and came back and ordered another one.

    The waist is (as others have mentioned) big. However, for me it wasn't radically oversized. I do have to cinch it in quite a bit. If I wear it a little lower on my hips (rather than at belly-button waist) I don't have to cinch it quite as much. But if you are somebody who is very self-conscious about how an item fits or flatters your body, this probably isn't for you. If you just want to be comfortable, and look nice without having to look perfect, this is a great slip-on skirt. Comfy, thin but not see-through. I got the dark blue and it's a nice shade that will go with a lot of colors of tops.
