Aventura Clothing Emerson Denim Jacket (For Women)

The jacket was much shorter on me than it appeared in the ad. Also much bulkier; didn't have the nice tapered shape as shown in the ad. I had to return it.

This jacket is easy care and lightweight. The only drawback is the lining which is striped and you need to match the specific colors to the shirt you wear under the jacket.

This will be your "go to" jacket. I love it - I lost the first one on an airplane, I'd only had it for a couple days. I was so upset! As soon as I got back from my vacation I checked to see if it was still available - phew, it was! The lining is very nice and gives it a great extra touch that very few denim jackets have. I wanted one that did not stop at the waist and look boxy - I wanted one with a bit of length and slightly fitted. This looks trendy without looking "too young". I'm 44 and feel great in this. I'm 5'7" and about 155 pounds, size 10 or 12 pants and 14 in tops and coats - I have broad shoulders, 38C bra - I ordered the large and the extra large - the large fit but I kept the extra large because I felt I could layer under it and just throw it on more easily.

This jacket is made with that nice soft denim and has a contrasting striped lining with golden colors. The lining material is soft and adds body to the jacket. I liked the multiple pockets and the denim color which goes with light and dark denim jeans or skirts. The pockets were well sewn and stylish. It's a good jacket for cool days that has some character while still being comfortable, reliable denim. I would prefer it a little longer, but it works well with other separates.

I was looking for a denim jacket that was not stiff or too heavy. This jacket is perfect, as far as softness and being lightweight.
