Aventura Clothing Emerson Pants (For Women)

I bought this pants because I've been adding on some pounds since the holiday season arrived. All my size 12's that I was just recently able to get into are now becoming tight again or they're streching out to cover my ever-widening butt. So when I decided to get another pair of pants I was prepared order a size up. The description on these said to buy a size smaller than usual - because they are bigger than most 12's. They were right! I bought the 12's and they fit me perfectly. They are actally better looking on me than all my other pants even when I was actually still a size 12. They fit below the waist, but they don't let my lovehandles stick out above the hem. They are very long which is a pro in my case because I'm so tall (5'10). They are really quite cute and stylish - I plan on buying another pair in a different color as soon as I have the money. I have the Black-Olive ones now, they are more of a charcoal or pepper color not very green looking at all. Note that the inside of the waist and the pockets are a brick pink color with multi-colored stripes. Very neat!

These pants are really flattering and I like the fabric a lot. Comfy, too. But, beware, like all Aventura pants and skirts, they run large, so order 1-2 sizes down.

Do order one size smaller, as instructed. These pants are comfortable, nice looking, and very well-made. They dress up or down, and the 33" length is perfect for me. Great with a shoe with a bit of heel. I now have 3 pair.

After 2 kids ordering a size smaller is a big ego boost, but the pants are really great. Boot or flip flops, though with flat shoes will drag on the floor. They run long, but that elongates the legs! After this i will order other colors. Order 1 size smaller.
