Aventura Clothing Galena Jacket - Organic Cotton, Insulated (For Women)

This coat is so cute. It fits great. It's comfortable and warm.

The jacket, although warm, had an odd fit about it. I am petite (5'1") and don't have a long torso, but this jacket felt short in length. It also was large in the bust area, but the sleeves fit fine. I was also concerned about quality - I tried it on the day it was delivered and when removing it, one of the buttons fell off. I wanted to love this jacket, but I had to return it.

This would be a great looking jacket if only the arms were longer and the bodice weren't so bulky.

I love this jacket because it is lightweight and attractive. It is corduroy on the outside and it has a cute floral print on the inside. Another plus is that it has two large inside pockets sewn into the cloth lining. I wear it with jeans mostly, but have also worn it with casual skirts. Its warmth level lets me wear it on cloudy or sunny California days. It's one of my favorites!

Overall the jacket is cute - but not for me. I like something with a little more shape. I'm thin but fairly curvy, and this just dosen't fit that body type - its more boxy in nature. Also, too big in the body and sleeves that are too short (almost 3/4 length on my arms - and I'm of average height). The lining is a bright green print jersey that is very stretchy - not sure that's my favorite. Lastly it's a nice fine wale corduroy - lovely deep brown colory but has large box stitching on it that you can't see in the pictures and breaks-up the line of the jacket.
