    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I ended up returning these pants because of the "loud" embroidered flowers on the side of the pant leg. You really couldn't see that detail in the ad and I don't remember it mentioned anyway. Also, when I read "pedal pushers", I expected them to be right above the ankle. These actually hit mid-calf and that look is just not flattering on me.

    The description mentioned embroidery, and I thought it referred to the subtle embroidery visible on the front pockets. Sadly, no. These looked like something either a 12-year-old or my mother would love, and that's great for them, but not so good for me. Massive embroidered pastel flowers on the legs of the pants. Be forewarned.
