    These shorts do run large, so be sure to order one size smaller. Otherwise, they are great! I love the comfort and feel of cotton, and with a little bit of nylon, these are only better. I also prefer to hike in long shorts, so these are perfect for me. Not my usual choice in color, but I told my hiking partners I wanted them to be able to see my way down the trail in my bright yellow shorts! And you can't beat the price!!

    not going to keep them :( There is no waist cut into the shorts... they just go straight up. they give you a belt, but that just makes the waist bunch. If you leave it open, then you can see straight down.
