Aventura Clothing Sabine Shirt - Organic Cotton, ¾ Sleeve (For Women)

Along with being organic cotton, this shirt was cute while being different. But I teeter between Medium and Large and in size Medium this shirt was too small for me. I had to return it, darn it! It is a quality shirt.

I really like this top! It looks nice alone, or worn open over another top. I got the brown color, and it looks great with tan jeans and a white t-shirt. Its unique details make it a little special, and it's a nice, lightweight, comfortable top. Wish it didn't need that touch-up ironing though.

The only problem I found was that the waist tie needed to be moved up one inch. Other then that it is a great shirt.

Cute top--good with jeans or casual slacks. The drawstring was sewn into the casing in one spot so had to pick out the stitching and sew it up again but not a problem if you have a sewing machine--not worth sending it back for that. Washes nice and did not need ironing after drip drying.

This is a great shirt! Light weight (very) and really well designed. It has an overall design that is trendy without being dated. The design also hides wear-wrinkles well. Very comfortable and can be used in a dressy or dressed-down application. I am very glad to get an organic, affordable shirt like this.

Fun to wear and easy...great with jeans or pants.

When I first tried this on, I just wasn't sold on it as much as I thought I'd be given the other reviews and the online picture. However, I decided to stick with it and find that it is easy to dress up/down, wears well, and just takes a little getting used to with the waist detail.

I liked this shirt in the catalog and then on the hanger a lot. The print is very pretty and the cut of the body of the shirt is flattering. But for me the sleeves were an annoying length. I have long arms (I'm tall--5'10"), and the 3/4 length sleeves really came about mid-elbow, so that every time I bent my elbow the cuffs momentarily bound at the elbow. The sleeves were definitely cut for someone with shorter arms. I returned the shirt.

Very cute and stylish. Nice soft fabric. I really like this shirt.

The sewing is very inconsistent on this blouse. I returned the first one because the collar was badly sewn--rucks caused by badly tensioned top-stitching at the back. I wish I had kept it and made do, because the replacement was even worse. The collar not only had rucks, but the top layer of the collar had been stretched out on the bias during sewing and was ballooning where the sewer tried to ease the extra fabric in any which way. Also, the second size large fit more tightly than the other size. The fabric was gathered a little under the casing, which made it narrower at the hips, and the sleeves were gathered more closely onto smaller button cuffs, which bound just under my elbows. I have long arms, so this might not be a problem for some people, but I am going to have to return. Too bad, because its a nice style.
