“The weave is eye-catching, but very loose and flimsy. Good thing about the paucity of yarn... it can ball up pretty small and light in a travel bag. But I don't know if it would survive a washing, and don't leave it in the path of your cat. Also, the cut is somewhat boxy - it drapes off the chest after a fashion, but I would like it better if it would at least rest on my hips instead of standing out like a bell. (I am built like a popsicle stick down there... if you are curvier in the hips you might not have this problem.) (Note : the boxiness I just described is subtle, not so bad as to make it unwearable or anything.) I still think that this vest can be very useful for things like covering up a sweater that is too short or tight or moth-eaten, or livening up your look when the only pants&top not in the hamper are black. Etc. But it's not going to keep you warm or take a lot of rough handling.”
