Aventura Clothing Madison Jacket (For Women)

The hem is not stitched down for about 2" and it is frayed. Also, it flares out at the hips, which is not very flattering. I am in the middle of the BMI range for my height, so I suppose if someone is overweight, this might be an advantage. I did not return it, because of the cost for return postage, but I am not happy with the poor workmanship and the fit.

this jacket exceeded my expectations

On a recent trip, I left my old Aventura jacket in an airport restroom and it never showed up in lost and found. I was thrilled to find the exact same jacket at Sierra Trading Post. I guess I will always check your site for clothing I've loved and lost or for things that have worn out!

Good quality and love the color (paprika). I like this coat because it is not too bulky and is comfortable along with still being flattering.

Good weight for fall (or S. Californian "winters" in my case -- yes, we have them)with room to wear layers underneath. Soft comfortable lining --unusual colors ("tabasco") and patterned quilting make the average jacket much more interesting. I'd like it just a couple of inches shorter but it's fine otherwise.

Love this jacket. Wish they would of had an x-large as it's kinda tight in the shoulders (I usually have to get a bigger size jacket to fit in shoulders...) Comfortable and I get lots of compliments on this jacket

I bought this coat for my Mom. She's 5ft 108lbs and the small fits her perfect. I think this runs a little big because she is a solid medium in other brands such as Cloudveil. This coat is very light and the fleece lining is very soft, cozy, and warm. The no-zip side pockets are also lined with fleece, but my Mom prefers deeper pockets with zippers for her money, keys, and cell phone (she doesn't carry a purse), so this jacket is going back. The blue color is beautiful.

I love the weight of this jacket, for our "in-between" weather. I ordered one size larger to allow a bit more room for a light layer. I can easily turn the sleeves under, for better arm length

I did not realize this would be so thickly padded with a kind of heavy fleece. It is more of an outer layer for cold weather, but I was hoping for a lighter-weight jacket to travel with in spring. This would take up a fair amount of room in a small suitcase and would mostly fill a backpack. I returned it because it didn't suit my purposes, but if you need an attractive quilted jacket, you might like this one.

I ordered this jacket in the Merlot color, in a Medium and it was way too big. Had I decided to try a Small I would not have gotten the Merlot color. The fleece lining is an orange color that I didn't care for.
