Verified Buyer Reviewed by Yankee in the South from SC on Tuesday, October 27, 2015I bought this on whim and because it was on sale, and it turns out it is much better looking in person - downright cute!
It has tones of greys but a slight pink-peachy fine line also to give it some life and still be neutral. It is a well-made garment, no loose threads, no unfinished seams. Pockets are more for decoration than use, in my opinion, but you can get four fingers in easily and keep your thumbs out, not the position where you would walk along trying to keep your hands warm. It is light weight but adds warmth. The material is quite smooth and slips on easily over my sherpa jacket I also bought from STP. I'm thrilled with the quality, style, and price.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Pdeegee from Iowa on Wednesday, October 14, 2015I was pleasantly surprised when I received this vest. The photos just looked like the plaid is all shades of grey, but it has some tone on tone touches of color that make it look really rich and help it coordinate with more shirt colors. It is light weight, but well made so it feels substantial without being bulky. The fit is flattering. The zip front is augmented with some buttons that have loop closures which are redundant as to function, but add some visual interest to the vest along with the offset plaid pockets. I like the knit collar, and the armholes fit me well for layering either a shirt or a sweater. And I got it for a terrific price. Great value!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Melanie the PhD student from California on Tuesday, April 7, 2015This is the first vest I have ever bought - I'm not usually into the vest look, but this one is super cute! It's nicely insulated without being so puffy that it is unflattering like other similar vests. The bottom hem was a bit loose, but the vest has snaps on both sides of the hem that allow you to male the bottom hem a bit tighter, which is nice.
