    This shoe was comfortable immediately. The tongue of the shoe is smaller than normal and this is a plus. I had previously purchased a different style of Avia so that is what influenced my decision to purchase these shoes. They are not, however, quite as cushy and shock absorbing as my other pair of Avia, but I'm pleased and the price was right.
