    Very disappointed because even the vegetable servings contained sugar, some to the meals had partially hydrogenated oils, and I quit looking at the ingredients after that, but these are full of what I believe are unhealthy ingredients

    Used this product for a 3 backpacking trip in the Golden Trout Wilderness. Tasted better than expected, easy to prepare. (I would pass on the scrambled eggs unless you can prepare with a pan as instructed.) Would buy again.

    Only 4 stars because it wasn't quite as delicious as Packit Gourmet... although it is WAY CHEAPER!! I stopped eating prepackaged dehydrated food 12 years ago because of poor taste, small portions and expense. I thought I would try it again - they must have significantly improved things - 2 servings is 2 filling servings, taste is great, very lightweight and SUPER easy to make (just add boiling water and wait 10 minutes). Decreases the dishes you do in the wilderness since it is all done in the bag. All that said - I ordered more for future trips!

    Backpackers Pantry is one of the best tasting freeze dried backpacking food around. Lightweight, easy to prepare, requires minimal equipment - usually, just boil water and add to package, easy clean up. In an outdoor retail store, buying each package individually would be much more expensive!

    I have gotten products from Back Packers Pantry before and was pretty excited to get these at such a great price. They really do taste good and make a great meal/pack item for back packing or hiking out on cold days when a hot meal just hits the spot. Easy to make, easy to transport, very little clean up and little to no space taken to pack out. Will continue to get these products and will keep looking for more deals like this!
