“The backpack has a superb suspension system, including lifters. The waist (I am 38-40 waist), chest and arm straps adjusted out to easily fit over my winter jacket (sized xl with synthetic insulation) and layers.
The pack is a simple top loader, made from tough looking cordura nylon. Top buckles down, and there is two side compression straps. The buckles look high quality, and are YKK brand.
The pack is designed to compress bulky items, would handle exterior items on the compression straps (I used them for a set of trekking poles). Excellent day hiker.”
