    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Shoes would be great if they just laced up higher to keep my foot from slipping out. Lacing stops too low on the tongue so does not secure your foot in properly. I am returning these for a different style.

    The only redeeming quality of this shoe is that it is waterproof. It runs a full size smaller than my foot size. My heel slips out with every step because there aren't enough grommets for the laces. I expected better quality.

    These shoes are perfect for me. I was looking for a pair of waterproof wind resistant shoes for hiking and biking in the winter. These shoes are everything I wanted! They run a little wide, which is perfect for my wide foot. I love these shoes!
