    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I ended up having to return the boots because they felt way too small. I wear a size 11 and felt I should have ordered up a size (size 12). I had read other reviews that say to "hang in there" and they'll break in to be a good fit but I didn't want to take the chance they wouldn't (they were really, really tight). I returned them and got a pair of Baffin Selkirk boots, size 11. The Selkirks were less snug and seem to be breaking in fine. The Selkirks are also less big and bulky -- but they are "only" rated to -94 instead of -148 degrees...

The best boot for extreme conditions, that I've owned.Very stable footprint and the foot-bed portion is not over-sized.I like the sewn in top gaiter, for the times you get off the trail and up to your waist in snow. The weight is not an issue and the boots have a lot of support. The toes also fit under the toe grabs on my Ski Doos.

I plan on using these this Spring while hunting for shed antlers where conditions vary from dry with cactus to muddy to deep snow drifts. Boots initially felt like heel slipped to much but I just cinched down the velcro strap and they were fine. Boots would be great for snowmobiling or just sitting on your rear in a cold stadium watching football.

After returning several other online purchases from other stores, I stumbled on these. They are the best cold weather boots I've ever owned. Working in 6" snow for hours, and my feet stayed warm and dry. Baffin in the only brand I'll buy in the future. Although I may be buying for a long time, these look built o last.
