After reading the comments, I decided to take a chance and buy a pair. While written up as Youth, these are Juniors boots, so think of them as adult sized for a slightly narrower than adult fit. I wear a 7W, and with the thick liner in, they fit my right foot, the narrower foot, perfectly. The left boot visually appears to have a narrower upper than the right boot, and it is giving my left foot the squeeze. If you wear wide shoes, or of you must wear your shoes wide due to neuromas or bunions, then save yourself the trouble and buy a 7W in another boot. If you have regular sized or narrow feet and you want to wear cute, well made boots made in Canada by a reputable manufacturer, then buy these boots. They're well worth it.
Our customers report that this boot does run true to size. You might want to check your child's feet against our shoe sizing charts to figure out what size would be best.
