Great for heavy snow and cold weather. Did not need heavy socks.
A little un-gainly for long treks, but they do the job well. Keeps you warm even when not moving.

I get cold very easily! These boots kept me toasty warm all day in single digit cold weather. They are a bit bulky and heavy, but it is worth it to me because they keep me warm. I love the "no-lace" BOA lace system - so easy to get on and off! I wear womens' size 8 and have slighlty wide feet - size 8 mens' fits perfectly.

I gave the boots to my Grandson who was walking to school in the snow and ice in tennis shoes. He absolutely loves the boots, they are comfortable, easy for him to get into and out of at school and for recess. I wasn't sure about the closure but he seems to like that type. It works well for him

I will advice people to buy boots a size or 2 bigger specially since you wear thicker socks in winter but they are amazing. They are a bit heavy but if you want your feet to be warm you can't expect to have light-weight boots. the boa system is pretty easy to use.
