Reviewed by Uncle Melty from Deep in the Heart of Texas on Wednesday, May 22, 2013First Bailey hat for me and I was surprised that the sweatband is not real leather, but looks as if it will absorb moisture well. Time will tell if it lasts... The hat is airy and weighs next to nothing and will do it's part to help "cooler heads prevail" ! Biggest/Only complaint is the way it was shipped. The brim at the back of the crown was bent PERPENDICULAR to the rest of the hat in order to allow shipping in a smaller box! Really? When I first saw it I thought the hat was ruined and figured they could have used an even smaller box if they had smashed the crown flat which, is the logical extention of their line of thinking. Turns out it was just the wire in the edge of the brim and once I shaped the brim it is not noticeable at all! OK...dodged a bullet...nice hat, worth the price. Get you one while they last!
