“His and Hers Baladeo Laguiole Set”

“These knives feel good in my hands, I guess it should since it is a design that has been around for a long time. I didn't like the protruding brass "nubs" that should have been sanded down, but now they just make for a good hand hold when the knife gets wet cutting fruit. The "his" knife is large, and difficult to close, but I found out that this is part of the design...to make an almost "lock back" knife. The "hers" doesn't have this problem, and it is still secure open. I like the "stamina wood"...it isn't rosewood as advertised. I went to the Baladeo website to see the full description of these knives before I purchased, so I knew what I was getting. I am very happy with the knives, and I'm using them for slicing my fruit, cheeses, and salami. These are my picnic knives. Thank you STP for the great sale.”
