“I don't know whether the thing was made in France or China (no indication on the item or in the packaging that I could find), it almost certainly is not silver anything as advertised, but it is made of good stuff, very sturdy, and works well. A waiter's opener is very easy to use, and this is a good one. I never would have paid [$] for it, but at $50-$60 it's a reasonable bargain for a nice item”
