    I bought this compass for my teenage son who was intimidated by having to negotiate public transportation and pedestrian traffic to and from his summer job downtown. Not only did this compass give him practical assistance, just carrying it gave him confidence to explore his busy and confusing environment. Now he's teaching me the uses of this fabulous instrument.
