Not that great of a knife. If I had paid suggested retail, I would have returned it.

Great gift, nice keychain strong and durable locking mechanism for the blade. My son really liked it. The blade needed sharpened was the only down fall.

The quality of the one I bought was poor. The pins on either end stood out and snagged on things. I filed them down even with the handle and then sanded the handle smooth. It actually feels nice now, but the handle is a bit too smooth to hold securely - I will need to scuff it a little. The main complaints I have are with the opening and locking mechanism. It's a bit difficult to open (the indentation for thumbnail is too small relative to how much force is needed to open the knife) and it took me a while to figure out how to close it safely. I hold the ring like a trigger on a pistol and rest the knife top of my hand then close the blade. Also, the ring gets in the way when using the knife but it is required to close the knife. I'll probably return it.

This knife is difficult to close and if you're not careful you can cut yourself trying to get it closed. It's even harder to open. Just very stiff.
