Balbianello Baby Alpaca Wool Scarf - Houndstooth (For Men and Women)

Soft and sensual it is. This scarf is just the right length for wear with jackets and sport coats. It is durable--it does not snag. It is more for light to moderate conditions and is more on the dress up side but would also be OK for casual or work. The baby alpaca is a quality and fine textured fabric. It is a unisex item really. I am male and prefer the red and charcoal one which I have had for about a year. I have bought several of these for gifts to women in the other colors and they think they are great!

This scarf was pretty much exactly what we expected, and seems to be a very good value. If it were slightly longer, it would be even better.

Beautiful, soft alpaca in a true houndstooth design.

I bought this for an upcoming trip to a cold climate, and I think it will be very warm, yet lightweight. I have had some alpaca before and love it for winter.

Wonderful color and very stylish, but just a little itchy if directly on skin. Not the same as cashmere, but not pretending to be. Would be great under a coat or with a turtleneck.

Very beautiful alpaca scarf; the texture is very silky and the fabric binds color like silk as well. Almost too nice to wear as a casual wrap scarf on regular winter days - more like a fashion accessory for "better occasions."

I ordered this scarf with some reservations thinking it may have been a bit feminine. But the charcoal and red houndstooth is really subtle a is a durable color and pattern. The red is subdued, in part by the charcoal, and adds just enough color a charcoal overcoat I own. The alpaca wool is soft yet smoothe and it appears to be very durable. The way the edges are finished gives me the idea it will be very durable. The pile is light, not bulky. Overall this is an outstanding product.

Very attractive, pattern was gorgeous, nice and soft, but the material is just thin. It's warm for the weight, but it's really just not heavy enough to be a winter accessory. Also doesn't have that thick plushy feeling that cashmere has, but that's a personal preferences.

A beautiful scarf for a Christmas present. My Daughter loves it and wears it every day.
