Not too thick with good support and they don't pinch my toes. When I saw them on sale here I ordered 6 pairs!

The socks looked very small when they came, but they are a perfect fit -- very stretchy, yet hold shape and stay right where they belong, no matter the activity. They "breathe" and don't get smelly. The cushion on the bottom allows for comfortable activity, and there are no chafing seams. The quarter crew style works for so many reasons, and it's hard to find a cuter ladies' black sock. Love the little design at the ankle, too! I bought both the white and the black and liked them so much I went back for two more pair of each color.
