My son was generous enough to buy me an early Christmas present on a guided Sea Duck Ocean Boat & dog hunt, professionally guided.
I certainly was not equipped for the extreme Northen Cold Maine weather especially on the Ocean.
I took a gamble purchasing this Banded 3-in-1 Waterproof Parka.
Boy,was I glad I did. This Parka was absolutely stupendous. 100% windproof (much needed on the ocean) but most of all, it kept me warm. At my age (61) and being Diabetic, Cold does not mix well at all.
I can sincerely state that this jacket saved my butt, (excuse the expression) and I am glad that i invested in it and was not just a purchase.
Job well orchestrated from start to finish. Will highly recommend to anyone who is hesitant, buy it, you'll be happy you did. -

Banded Creek Parka - Waterproof Insulated, 3-in-1Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Alexandria, VA on Friday, August 1, 2014Looks like it will be a great and relatively warm waterfowl coat and appears to be a qaulity manufactured garmet. A couple of recommedations I'd make to the company: 1) add an additional shell pouch on the left side of lower portion of the jacket - there is only one on the right side (you can never have enough ammo), and, 2) make the coat's main zipper a 2-way zipper. This is a basic function in most active and outerwear - they've missed that detail on this version of the coat. I bought it for a substantial discount during a sale and will make it work.
