    This hood fits perfectly on my waxed cotton Barbour jacket. The snaps line up in all the right places as they were made to go together. It has the same high quality standards of all Barbour products and little extras like a wire around the hood opening so that it holds its shape, without being constricting. My favorite Jacket now has a hood.

    Unfortunately, this didn't work for me. I bought this at the same time I bought the Newmarket jacket, hoping they would work together. But the jacket didn't have a place to snap the buttons into. And even if it did, the color of this hood (sandstone) was very different than the color of the Newmarket jacket (also in sandstone). I guess one just has to order it to see if it's the same exact (sandstone) color as whatever jacket one has. Otherwise, it looks very well constructed.
