Barbour Corduroy Jeans - Stretch (For Women)

These were sized even smaller than I expected. I read the reviews and thought I was ordering asccordingly, but they were very small, and even to small for a friend, who is at least a size smaller than I am.

Barbour has great quality, but these cords were cut very tight and slim. I wear a size 4 petite, and could not even zip these. Soft, good quality cords, but cut and fit unlike other Barbour clothing I've bought.

From other reviews, I thought the material would be thicker than it was, but it wasn't thin and that's what I was looking for. I normally wear a size 4. These fit me like skinny cords should--but unlike most people, I have no tushie (to speak of), so I can understand why they wouldn't fit someone shaped normally. I wish I'd gotten another pair!

excellent material; heavier corduroy than most expensive brands in department store. well cut with traditional european sizing- consider that current american sizing runs big. I normally wear 0/00 american pants and this 8/4 fits perfect. long enough to be not considered petit but does not drag on the floor.

I am very very impressed with the quality of the material used for this pair of pants. It is thick corduory (thin wale type). I purchased the tan color. I am a size 0/24, after reading the review I decided to give the size 8 (UK) a try, it is perfect in the hips. the waist is a tag big large but with a belt it should not be a problem. This is very nice in comparison to most American brand pants, even ones I've paid over 100 dollar for (brands such as Jbrand, AG) do not last long in the wash. I see this one wearing through several years. Very happy with Barbour quality. I think most complaints on the web about the sizing is because traditional UK sizes runs small.

The poor sizing undercuts the fine fabric and workmanship.

Comfortable, attractive everyday jeans. Fine corduroy makes them warmer than most denim jeans, without extra weight. Just enough stretch make these very comfortable in motion. I had no fit problems, such as other comments mention. I wear US12, so UK16 fit perfectly. Only problem for me is 31 inch inseam, as described. It really is only 31 inches. I need 32 inches. Got an extra 3/4 inch by taking out the hem, which is enough for flat shoes. Because of length, I wash cold and drip dry. The pants have not shrunk at all, still fit like new. I give 4 stars instead of 5 only because of the short length. With another inch, I could dress these up with boots.

The people that make these need to get real with the sizing. I wear a true size 8 and can not even get these pants on. They are coming back to you for refund. Will never buy another pair from this company.

I'm getting to pretty adept at translating UK to US sizes, but this pair of pants is way off - I'd have to go up at least 2 more sizes. Cut of legs is super thin.
