Pure long-staple Egyptian cotton shell is treated with a special oil and wax combination plus has a fully taped seam hung liner to ensure this quality jacket to be waterproof breathable.

    Typical Barbour quality in a medium weight coat. I've had several waxed garments, and this is the first one my kids don't call a "Crayon Coat" because of the smell. Rugged, dependable and warm with out a liner. Won't use much in San Diego, but will be valuable in CO.

    The tag says this jacket is machine washable, but DO NOT do that. Even careful hand washing without tumbler caused terrible shrink of outer fabric, and now the liner is hanging out from the skirt. I was very disappointed because the jacket is great except for this defect.
