I am normally a Small or 38 in Barbour but I listened to the reviews. The XS fits like a traditional Small. As for the coat, it is perfect for travel in the city. It looks good with a suit or jeans. At this price, it is a steal!

Great Jacket for the price. Everything you'd expect from a Barbour jacket in terms of quality and attention to detail. Unfortunately the same goes for sizing, which is specific to the UK and the equestrian roots of the company. Sleeves run a bit long to allow for arms to be covered while horseback riding so expect them to be a little longer than what your used to. The jacket is also roomy to allow for more comfort and mobility while riding, however this jacket is a more fitted cut than their traditional classic cut so it's not quite a "boxy" as their older jackets. I believe this jacket is about 6" bigger than what the size normally would be so if you wear a Med (38-40) the true size would be closer to a large (44-46). In otherwords, order a size smaller than you normally would. Other than the sizing this jacket is a great buy and very versatile. The duracotton fabric makes it water resistant and durable enough to wear for outdoor activities while the classic barbour design makes it stylish enough to wear for most occasions. A great addition to anyone's outerwear collection. I highly recommend buying this while suppies last!
