Barbour Flyweight Quilted Jacket (For Women)

Will be great for rolling up in the suitcase... Lightweight, versatile....not really stylish but that's Barbour (which I happen to love!) Glad I read the reviews prior to purchase....ordered a size larger than usual...this does run small...

As soon as I tried on this jacket I didn't want to take it off. It is very comfortable to wear and is not at all bulky. I probably could have worn a smaller size but it might not have been as comfortable. I ordered US size 8 and I usually wear a medium jacket. I am 5'3" and 130. The jacket is loose enough to wear a fleece under it. The lining is a very nice mesh plaid material, there is a handy inside zip pocket and the side pockets are just in the right place to put your hands in to stay warm. The jacket seems to be very well made and is fun to wear. I will look forward to wearing it for travel this spring and have already worn it several times this winter when it was not extremely cold.

Read reviews that jacket runs big. Usually wear a size 8, bought a US 6 but had to return to get a size US 4. Comfortable and jacket keeps you plenty warm which is surprising since it is so lightweight. Love how it is not bulky which is great for the cold snaps here in Florida.

Good quality jacket. Last a long-time for classic dresser. I had a black and was happy with it. So I got the beige color one for my sister.

I've been looking for a quilted jacket with a longer length. This is perfect! Much better looking in person. The back has a slit on each side at the hem that close with snaps. The "dark olive" color is perfect for fall. Definitely order one size down. You'll still have plenty of room. This coat is not at all stiff or bulky. I love it. I just ordered another one in the "stone" color.

Olive is a nice color; lining is classy. Pockets are big enough for hands and there's a large interior pocket. Runs very large - order a size or two down. Overall very comfortable.

I needed something attractive but "livable" to go to school and pick up kids in cold weather. This jacket isn't that fitted, but I like that with sweaters underneath. I throw it on with a scarf and a hat and even though my mommy clothes underneath are rather mundane, the outerwear is practical and pulled-together. To me, that's the purpose of a nice jacket.
