tight at the hips

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

It sticks at the hips, and you have to pull down the jacket to make it hang after sitting. If you had tiny hips, it might be ok, but for a normal size 10, it is constantly riding up. I love the fabric, love the workmanship, may have it altered because I like everything BUT the hip fit.

I was very impressed with the workmanship, all the attention to detail, extra pockets, well-fitting, detachable hood...extremely well done and well worth the money! I wish it came in purple like the above photo, but the lime green is a nice departure from my predominantly-purple wardrobe! I LOVE IT!
