    Sigh. This is a beautiful sweater, but... This was the second time I tried buying this sweater because I was still hopeful. The first time I tried buying "my size" and one size larger. Both were way too small. This time I bought what should have been 4 sizes too large. It finally fit in width, but still was slightly too short in the arms (I have long arms). Again, beautiful, soft and stylish, but made for petites, not for the average to tall person. I absolutely recommend it if the fit works for you.

    Gorgeous sweater, I wasn't sure what to expect but this is definitely top of the line . Superbly crafted as only the Scotch can do with knits! Rich color (I bought the pumpkin orange) with perfectly stitched cables. That said... sensitive skin types, think twice! Thicker than cashmere, but similar in softness, still that merino/angora combination can be a bit irritating to tender skin, around the neck especially. I find it a little itchy but I love the sweater so much it's not going back! Really warm and cozy -- but if you don't like extra bulk, this item may not be for you. Not a layering piece. You'd never get a jacket over it, and the turtle neck is a bit high, but flattering. As for fit, I am long-waisted and I like sweaters to hit at the top of the hip. This sweater is a bit shorter. Still it is a beautiful beautiful piece at a great price! I can see why other reviewers bought more than one
