There is probably no better deal out there, than the Barbour products at STP. A Barbour Jacket possesses that unique quality that makes you feel just as great wearing it, as it does looking at it,..... hanging on a hook in your hallway.

The comments above may be misleading, since I could only get this in a 2XL (46-48) instead of a L)!!! I wanted to inspect it and see if it fit close enough to my size (42-44) or could be altered by a tailor to get there. I decided the quality, style, and leather finish warranted keeping it and actually having it almost completely remade to cut it down to my size and make it look like it is my coat and not some giant relative's! I picked it up today at the tailor's. So, yes, now it does fit and seems right, the sleeves are just right, the body has been taken in, and even with the cost of the alterations, given the sale pricing at STP at this stage on this off the MSRP, I still have a very affordable and quality leather military blazer type coat from Balfour at a fraction of the normal price. The leather is a nu-buck, soft lambskin, supple and comfortable, with a light quilted lining for less bulk. With a sweater or a cardigan underneath, it's ready for hard, cold weather. Or it will be good for spring and cool evenings any time of year. A handsome, traditional blazer that's had some major surgery to slim it down! lol Only thing that could have been better would be to have been offered more sizes when I was shopping and avoid the major alterations. But I really am pleased, not complaining.

I ordered 2xl because the size info described xl as being a size smaller than usual, and I'm at the top of most xl fits. It turned out to be just too large. Sleeve length was good for me, and I liked that, but the body of the coat was loose and caused it to crumple, which is the wrong look for a leather jacket. Probably not your fault since it may be tough to match european sizes to US expectations, but the coat, disappointingly, just didn't work given the price.

This is a typical Barbour item, well tailored and precisely sewn. (It is sourced from India. Many Barbour items that are not wool or Ventile are sourced elsewhere.) The XXL size was truly XXL, with room for a sweater underneath. The surprise is that the leather is very lightweight, almost a suede, but with a sheen. From the photo I was expecting a "hard" finish. The polyester quilted lining is not made for winter. Even the large size can be compacted to a remarkably small volume. Ultimately I returned the coat because it was a bit oversized for me.
