“This is a typical Barbour item, well tailored and precisely sewn. (It is sourced from India. Many Barbour items that are not wool or Ventile are sourced elsewhere.) The XXL size was truly XXL, with room for a sweater underneath. The surprise is that the leather is very lightweight, almost a suede, but with a sheen. From the photo I was expecting a "hard" finish. The polyester quilted lining is not made for winter. Even the large size can be compacted to a remarkably small volume. Ultimately I returned the coat because it was a bit oversized for me.”
