“Inconsistent Size Between Colours”

“I ordered two of these jackets, one in navy and one in olive, both in size UK 8 (US 4). Being 33.5" in chest, 24.5" in waist and 36" in hips, I wear both 8 and 10 in UK sizes. While the olive jacket fits me very well, even with a thick wool sweater underneath, I wasn't even able to zip the navy jacket. That's very odd. I compared the one to the other and the navy jacket, despite being the same size as the olive one, is in excess of 3" smaller! This kind of an error in sizing is unacceptable on Barbour's part. Barbour, "By Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen", should not have this kind of problems. While the jacket itself is nice, the fleece is really thick and the quilt inserts complement it, I am disappointed because I like navy colour much more than I do olive.”
