    This coat is cut absolutely straight down (the picture makes it look A-line!) I am a size 6. The 6 was tight in the hips, but comfortably loose at the chest and waist. The color is a *very, very, very* pale banana. Definitely not a good color for us olive skinned folks. It's going back.

    I really liked the Barbour Newcastle Jacket, and needed a stylish alternative to slog around in the rain in. However, my normal-to-wide hips proved too snug for the size I ordered. I didn't order up because there was plenty of room in the chest and sleeve length, so felt a bigger size would be too large on my top half. I regretfully returned it.

    Extremely well-made jacket. Cut small- I read the other reviews so I knew to order a size larger, which worked out perfectly. I needed a real rain jacket and this is great and looks nice too. Not quite as stylish as other rain/light jackets for work, but this is much better made and really waterproof- a solid jacket that will last.
