Barbour Polarquilt Jacket - Utility Matt (For Women)

Bought a size up which fits perfectly. New favorite daily jacket. A more fashion forward look if you can imagine from Barbour with the chest pockets. Really like it. Has great body with the quilted fleece inside. Snaps at the side give it more shape.

Really wonderful coat. Because of the fleece lining, the coat is light but warm. Wear it alone on spring/fall days, and over a sweater it's perfect as a winter coat.

While this company usually makes very good products, I was very disappointed and will be returning the jacket. While it says it's "fitted for a woman's form...", that's not the case at all. I found the jacket to be very "boxy" looking and was not flattering at all. Also, not as thick as I thought it would be, though it still might be warm. If you have any curves at all, I would not recommend it. I also found the coat a bit steep in price for what it is.

Barbour quality - great fit. Not too light and not too bulky. Great for late Fall. Looks very well on. Very sharp....a classic look. Love it, love it. Would like to get the same style in brown.....

great for sporting events

I have broad shoulders with an average build everywhere else and this fit me well in the shoulders but looks a little snug across the chest. It is medium weight with a warm, soft interior fabric which will show lint. It has 4 snap/flap pockets, 2 at the chest and 2 at the waist and no interior pocket. I purchased the black color and was pleased to see that the interior is black also. Typical to all Barbour coats, the arms are on the long side which is beneficial when doing activities with arms away from your body. The matching lining color is nice if I want to roll up the sleeves but I will probably just leave them. The upright collar is short and the overall cut is close fitted with a comfortable roominess in the middle which can be brought in with side snaps. Using the side snaps brought it in just enough to give the jacket a tailored shape along the mid and lower back which is very attractive. I like to wear layers so usually get a size 12US - 14US coat; I purchased this coat in a 12US but it fits more like a 10US in the arms and body. Wearing a medium weight turtle neck, the coat keeps me warm on a day in the 40s if I am out for a walk or generally moving about. I recommend that folks purchase a larger size they want to wear layers.

I needed a coat for when I fly and this coat fit the bill! The barbour name is a classic name and this coat allowed me to have quality for a stylish cut. Perfect!
