    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    When the jacket was described as tailored I thought it would be more fitted, but the fit was terrible. I found it was not a fitted jacket like another Barbour jacket (quilted utility) previously purchased. I bought a size US8, but the back of the jacket was too big and it did not lie flat. I have noticed that Barbour jackets usually fit if you are big in the top and have narrow hips, which I don't have. Unfortunately I had to return it.
