    Bought this for my son & he is very happy with it. The sizing is correct and fits perfectly. He will wear this in rainy or cool weather and traveling. There are great sizable pockets perfect for traveling. The plaid lining is OK. I might have picked something else buty my son said it is fine. The jacket is very well madeand a great price.

    Better than expected regarding fit. The XL is good for my 46 exhaled and 48 inhaled chest with a sweater. Good Barbour quality. Good weight for all spring and fall weather here in the Great Lakes region. Wish the color was the typical olive or slate like it's heavier sibling at Orvis.

    Combined with my Swanndri this coat gives me coverage for 3 seasons of the year on the Gulf Coast. Coat fits as if tailored for me. It is the perfect jacket for walking along the beach. I am ever so glad I bought it. I must admit the hood storage is at best awkward.

    I love this jacket. The xxl is roomy enough for a guy wearing 48w Jeans and a 19.5 Dress shirt. Hope that helps with the sizing questions Barbour seems to get a lot of. FYI it looks like the Beaufort is running the largest of all the barbour coats. Measuring 30" arm pit to arm pit flat. I like the double zipper a lot since I can keep the jacket zipped then driving.
