    The colors were much brighter than pictured, which was a bit disapointing. But it is a good looking shirt anyway and it was a gift to my uncle for Christmas. He seemed very pleased. The size seemed right, but I haven't heard if he has tried it on yet. If there is a size problem, I will edit my review.

    Tartan. Classic and rustic. I have two shirts from Barbour ("brown" and "dark green"), and am rather impressed with their tartan shirts, which I would classify as midweight flannels. The tartan patterns are unique to the company's range, and are pleasing to the eye. The shirts are good quality and feel soft yet sturdy. Wear under your favorite cardigan or pair with cord trousers and a quilted jacket.
