Barbour Twill Newmarket Jacket - Waterproof (For Women)

This is a happy color. I notice folks checking me out in admiration. I get smiles from strangers. I really believe that the color of the coat put strangers at ease. It's a friendly color. I haven't seen one person with my coat. It's nice to look a bit different rather than the cookie cutter look.

This was the first Barbour jacket I purchased from STP. I ordered the stone color and was pleasantly surprised at the excellence of the construction and fit when it arrived. The material has a nice smooth finish; the lining contracts nicely with the coat color and the Barbour snaps on the back opening, wrist straps and front closures are a nice detail.

Great fabric and styling, but unfortunately just overall too big for me (size 0-2) and needed to return. wish they make/or STP carries smaller sizes...

I really wanted to love this jacket--the brand, the English country styling, the fitted style. But, I couldn't do it. It had the potential for a great jacket, but the tailoring and construction, while good on the outside, were shoddy on the interior. The plaid lining was mismatched inside, but worse, the skirt of the lining was poorly constructed and bulky, with excess material as compared to the exterior. If the jacket were left unbuttoned, the lining flopped out in front of the coat. The sizing was on the small side, but the sleeves were long, so you might need to flip them up, making a corduroy cuff, ok if that's the look you want.I had to return the jacket. For a jacket retailing for over [$], I expected excellent tailoring and a better fit.

I ordered a couple of sizes up, thanks to other reviews! :-) The (new) size was just right.

I found this jacket ran almost a full size smaller than other Barbour coats/jackets I own. I am keeping it as it does fit, but my other Barbour coats allow a sweater or so and this one would not. Just keep in mind if you want the jacket roomier, buy a size or 2 up from your normal size. Other wise, a great coat!

I was very excited about this jacket but was very disappointed. It is very well made, but the fit is aweful. I have a normal proportionate body and the jacket fit me very well in the bottom, however the sleeves were gigantic all around: very wide and long. I really wanted to love it......

This jacket is more for fall wear than winter in Wyoming. It is great for layering as I was able to wear a fleece jacket under and nor feel constricted. Another great jacket by BARBOUR!

If I have any criticism, it is that the coat does not run true to size. Fortunately, I read an earlier revue, and ordered a size larger than usual. Otherwise, the coat is perfect, and I have gotten may compliments.

What a great jacket; however, it runs a bit small so order a size up. Unlike other people who bought this jacket, I felt that the chest and arms were true to size, but the bottom of the jacket actually seemed a bit slim. Additionally, the lining bothers me a little bit since it is not stitched to the jacket very well so sometimes it feels like two articles of clothing instead of one.
