“Just what I wanted and needed”

“My Barbour Border Coat is more than 20 years old and has seen a great deal of use. The lack of a liner, though, meant that it wasn't really warm enough for wet AND cold days. I didn't feel like spending more than $100 for a liner. A couple of weeks ago I decided to check the web again and found that Sierra Trading Post had one with snaps rather than the zipper for 75% off, under $25. [...] The key here is that the snaps match up. Even though the liner was a size 40 and my jacket is 42 it fit perfectly on arrival. Difference in size only menat that it was a bit shorter than the jacket itself, but still was long enough. It might have been a bit smaller across the chest, but I couldn't tell. It is nice and warm and the combination fits over a heavy tweed sport jacket very nicely. Some other reviewer complained about the snaps. Well, you do need to check that whatever you want to put it in, has snaps and not a zipper as the newer Barbours have. This is a no brainer. I do not see any negatives about this product. Excellent value for the money. Even if it were closer to the non-sale price.”
